What is Snow and Trail?
Snow and Trail is an online ski and snowboard hire centre for those travelling to Bansko during the ski season. We offer a wide variety of services catering for all levels of skier and snowboarder, from equipment hire, group and private lessons, right through to pre-ordering and arranging lift passes. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or seasoned pro, we will take care of your every need.
Snow and Trail is run by a team of experienced skiers and snowboarders, so if you have any questions or are looking for a bit of advice on the sport or resort, don’t be shy, we’re here to help!
Who’s behind Snow and Trail?
Snow and Trail was set up by Mark and Alan – As two keen snowboarders, we first visited Bansko in 2006. At that time Bansko had received a massive investment in it’s ski facilities to include a new gondola station and high speed lifts throughout the resort. A year later, and Bansko was starting to appear in a number of the ski holiday brochures.The continual development of the ski resort together with the authentic charm of Bansko town appealed to us and we knew we wanted to be a part of it. We created good working relationships with local ski and snowboard hire providers and together with our knowledge of Bansko, we saw the opportunity to bring a unique winter sports hire service to the UK and Ireland. This was the beginning of Snow and Trail.

An experienced skier, Carole assists with the day to day running of the business during the ski season and helps keep the website content up-to-date. Carole is also on hand to answer your questions. |

How did you get started?
With an increased number of direct flights from the UK and Ireland to Bulgaria’s capital Sofia and a competitive property rental market, Bansko ski resort was attracting an increasing number of winter sports enthusiasts. What we realised was that the independent traveler can pre-book and pay for flights and accommodation online, yet ski and snowboarding services still had to be arranged either by making direct contact with local hire shops or on the first morning of your holiday. Snow and Trail was created to take the stress out of making such arrangements, by giving us the job of preparing everything for your arrival. It was also important for us that providing such a personal service didn’t increase the costs. fortunately, working with our suppliers in Bansko we have been able to keep our prices in-line with those found in the resort.Why choose Snow and Trail?

* Snow and Trail are already the supplier of choice for a number of Chalet owners in Bansko. Working with the owners we are able to have lift passes delivered to the chalet ahead of their guests arrival
